A BRUSH CUTTER MACHINE is a versatile agricultural tool that is used to cut weeds, harvest crops, and trim small trees and other foliage. It is also known as a brush saw or clearing saw. The machine consists of a power unit held close to the body, a power transmission pole, and a rotary cutting head. The cutting head can be fitted with various types of blades like tap and go, two-point blade, and three-point blade for specific purposes.
The brush cutter consists of different parts. The first and most important part of the brush cutter is the engine. The engine generates torque that moves the cutting head. The second most important part of the brush cutter is the drive mechanism. It has a centrifugal clutch along with a sprocket assembly. The third part of the brush cutter is the guide bars that are generally made of alloy steel. The brush cutter generates a lot of friction, and hence it needs to be constantly lubricated. To do so, there is a gauge, oil holes, grease holes, and guide slot.
